Liebster #2

Thanks to Paige from Sunday Best and All the Rest for awarding me with my second Liebster Award! Again, here are the rules:

1) What is the long term goal for your blog?
I'm taking it one month at a time for now, but the goal is to continue blogging for the next couple years. Eventually I'm thinking about turning it into a website.

2) What have you enjoyed the most about blogging so far?
It's hard to say what I've enjoyed the most. There are so many fun aspects to it. I enjoy getting to know other bloggers that I never would have come into contact with otherwise; keeping in touch with my out-of-state friends and family; seeing my progress as a writer and a stylist; and learning more about computers and web design.

3) Peanut butter + chocolate or mint + chocolate?
I'm thinking of 90% dark chocolate squares by Godiva with peanut butter spread on top of them. Served with unsweetened almond milk.

4) For your birthday, would you rather have your mom or sister  cook you a special meal or go out to eat?
Either or! My mom can certainly make yummy food, but I like to go out sometimes.

5) Series or stand alone books?
Series. On the Runway and Harry Potter come to mind. Unlike stand alone books, with a series you go on a deeper journey with the characters and get to grow with them.

6) What version of the Bible do you prefer?
Well, obviously they're all great. It's the Bible, no matter how you slice it! I love the Message because it speaks in street language, and it makes sense to me. The King James Version is lovely and beautiful. Right now I mainly use the New International Version, but I'm going to go with The Message overall.

7) Do you journal your studies in scripture?
Not usually. I do keep a journal, but normally I'm just talking to God about my life and the things I'm struggling with. That's a good idea, though.

8) If you were to host a period costume event, what era would it be?
Either the 1940s or 50s. I love the fashions of the Regency and Civil War era, too, but not quite as much.

9) Do you spend your day in bare feet, socks, or shoes?
Today, I'm barefoot.

10) If you could have a gift card to any clothing store, including online, what would it be for?
Forever 21.

11) If I were to visit you in your hometown, what would be the first place you'd want me to see?
My hometown is Knoxville, Tennessee, and the first place I would take you to would be downtown to walk around the riverfront. It's fun, and now that I only go back to TN to visit, it holds a bit of nostalgia for me as well.

    1. I like it, Tera! It's like a little hodgepodge of things, which is cool. Don't you love the word hodgepodge? I love that you love to write. What kind of things do you write about? I like writing realistic fiction and poetry. I look forward to reading more of your posts!!!!

  2. Thank you for doing this Ireland!
I'm nearsighted and have astigmatism too! I probably will always have to wear glasses though, because my eyes don't close all the way, and tend to be affected by allergies (both the same with Mom).
Your historical costume ideas sound so fun! Invite me if you ever have a party. Lol. ;)
